Responsibilities
- Deliver quality instruction that facilitates student learning.
- Prepare course lessons and materials in a timely, thorough manner.
- Communicate course outcomes, requirements, expectations, and assignments clearly with a syllabus approved by the division.
- Provide students with regular quantitative and qualitative feedback.
- Regularly update student grades on the faculty portal.
- Record student attendance regularly on the faculty portal.
- Submit midterm and final grades on time using the faculty portal.
- Communicate promptly and professionally with students, colleagues, and supervisors.

Qualifications
- Applicants who hold either a doctorate or
master’s degree in the field of instruction are preferred. - Applicants with a master’s degree in a different field but with at least eighteen graduate hours in the field of instruction may also be considered.
- Applicants with a relevant bachelor of arts degree and extensive professional experience in the field of instruction may also be considered for certain fields of instruction.

Education Faculty

The Division of Professional Studies seeks qualified applicants to fill a full-time faculty position in the field of education. In addition to teaching and advising duties, the faculty member chosen for this position will oversee program assessment & accreditation and will facilitate the expansion of education programs.

Key Responsibilities
- Teach up to nine hours of education courses per semester.
- Advise up to twenty education majors.
- Oversee education program assessment and accreditation.

Faculty Responsibilities

- Applicants who hold an accredited doctorate in education (i.e., educational foundations, curriculum and instruction, educational leadership, etc.) are preferred. Applicants with an accredited master’s degree in education may also be considered.

Graduate Program Administrative Assistant
Graduate Program Administrative Assistant

The Graduate Program Administrative Assistant is responsible for ensuring excellence in all administrative matters, including but not limited to: correspondence, online platform management, academic services, financial record-keeping, program assessment, marketing, and course proctoring. In this job, you will conduct the daily operations of the graduate program and serve as a personal assistant to the program director.
You will get the opportunity to build relationships with our valued students and faculty, grow intellectually and spiritually as you engage with course materials, and make a lasting impact in churches and ministries around the globe through the students to whom you provide a God-centered graduate education.
As a GBSC employee, you will be able to apply for professional development funds ($300/year), and may use them towards professional certification programs, such as the Professional Administrative Certification of Excellence (PACE) program.
Responsibilities
- Correspondence—Manage all correspondence for the graduate program.
- Online Platform—Facilitate course development and maintenance in online LMS and other relevant platforms (YouTube, Piazza Discussion Forums).
- Academic Services—Provide academic services and advising for graduate students.
- Assessment—Keep records and produce reports as required by the department, institution, and various accreditation organizations.
- Marketing—Assist in marketing the program through various means.
- Proctoring—Proctor three zero credit-hour courses/modules: Graduate Mentorship Program, Graduate Ministry Involvement, and the Introduction to Graduate Studies Module.
- Miscellaneous—Assist professors and program directors with their workloads whenever necessary (e.g. helping with syllabus construction, grading, entering of grades, etc.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree, some graduate-level study is a plus
- You have interpersonal skills, excellent office and phone etiquette, and a professional and courteous demeanor that will help us deliver unparalleled service that keeps our students coming back.
- Your organizational skills, multitasking talents, and capacity to navigate multiple deadlines will keep the Graduate Office on top of its various responsibilities.
- You are a capable learner when it comes to new systems and have demonstrable skills with word-processing software, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Your proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement will help the program strive for continuing excellence in accomplishing its mission.
- The ability to work both independently and in collaboration is essential to this role as you will be conducting routine tasks and working with other staff and faculty on an ongoing basis.

Associate IT Systems Administrator

GBSC is currently seeking applications for the position of IT Systems Administrator. The IT Systems Administrator’s basic function is to, primarily, maintain campus server technology and, secondly, assist in IT Help Desk operations.

- Assist IT Help Desk Coordinator fulfill helpdesk tickets when necessary
- Make purchasing recommendations related to campus technology
- SIEM Management and Implementation
- Plan, deploy, and manage a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solution to monitor and respond to security incidents.
- Ensure continuous monitoring of network, servers, and endpoints for security breaches and unusual activity, responding to threats in real-time.
- Incident Response and Threat Management
- Develop and maintain the college’s incident response plan, ensuring efficient response to data breaches, security incidents, and other emergencies.
- Perform regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to ensure system integrity and data security.
- Cybersecurity Policy Development
- Assist in the creation and enforcement of cybersecurity policies and procedures in accordance with legal and compliance requirements.
- Conduct security awareness training for staff and students to foster a culture of cybersecurity awareness on campus.
- Firewall and Network Security
- Manage and configure firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) to safeguard network infrastructure.
- Oversee network access controls and ensure secure network segmentation for campus security.
Required technical qualifications
- Four-year degree and one year of experience in the IT systems administrator field
- Experience supporting Windows server technology stacks
- Experience supporting VOIP phone systems
Preferred technical qualifications
- Four-year degree and six+ years of experience in the information technology field
- Experience supporting Windows 2008, 2012 and 2016 servers
