  • Create a "Successor Criteria Template" for each key person to complete

  • Develop criteria for potential successor - education, experience, social and leadership skills, responsibilities and terms
  • Create a "Successor Form" that includes fields for the following information: department or office, current personnel, proposed successor and how this person meets the above criterion
  • Identify possible successor for key personnel
  • Submit "Successor Form" to Administrator for approval
  • Provide adequate training/office orientation for successor (as possible)

Personnel Development

Personnel Development includes topics such as: professional development support and programming; transition planning for administration and faculty; faculty/staff satisfaction, appreciation and morale; and faculty/staff workload concerns.
